The Crossing

The Crossing is an amazing restaurant with even more amazing food. My sisters and I chose the 4 course tasting menu w/ wine pairings. The presentations were all beautiful and the food really was some of the best food I've ever eaten. I have not one single complaint about the whole experience. Our server, Joshua, was super attentive and patient, and very knowledgeable about both the menu and the wines. It's a little pricey, but not overpriced, definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend The Crossing, and I will be back. Excellent celebration restaurant too.

One of the very best dining experiences I’ve ever had! We enjoyed the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing and every single course was full of flavor and unique in some way. It was our first time eating here, so it was such a great way to try many of their menu favorites. And I loved that they didn’t bring us both the same thing for each course, allowing us to try even more! The wines were paired perfectly, too. Our server was also fantastic. Can’t wait to eat here again!

The Crossing is our go-to place for celebrations and special evenings. Everything on the menu is truly chef crafted and of the highest quality. We were left wondering what some of the sauces and ingredients were because they were unlike anything we had tasted before (in the best way!) Our server Kala was knowledgeable about every dish and its ingredients. She made our evening a night to remember and we left saying that we will have to come back more often. Their pairings make me want to try something new each time. The Spanish octopus appetizer and halibut entree were fantastic and the cheese soufflé was tasty. Out of all the fine dining establishments around Clayton, this is the finest and best overall experience.

Everything was outstanding! Our waiter Joshua was very knowledgeable of the menu, and gave great recommendations. We did the menu tasting since so many options sounded amazing. My husband and I got the octopus and salad as the first course. The octopus was cooked to perfection- not chewy at all and had a nice smoky flavor. I’m not a huge salad person, but it was the best salad I’ve ever had. The second course he got boar in pasta and I got pork shoulder ravioli. The boar was super flavorful and the ravioli was good, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. The third course we got the lamb and duck. Both were very good, but the duck with blackberry sauce was incredible!! I would I think the breading on the lamb was a little misplaced. The fourth course was strawberry cheesecake and the ginger creme brûlée. The strawberry cheesecake isn’t your traditional cheesecake. It was more of a mousse. The crème brûlée my husband loved. I thought it had too much ginger flavor to it. He thought the hard sugar top was too thick. Overall the food, service and atmosphere was all amazing. I’d highly recommend going there! We’ll definitely be back. Plus they have complimentary valet parking
